To sleep or not to sleep-

I can't sleep.
I suppose I could try.
But I don't feel like it.
But I should, because I want to wake up tomorrow so we can go to the music store. Then everyone else wants to go to this fancy schmancy restaurant where they wear tuxedos. Mom said she'd make me brush my hair if we went there. I told her that wasn't a good idea, since brushing only exacerbates the problem, but whatever. If I have a new a/e six-string guitar, I won't care a whole lot about my hair. Then we need to get back in the afternoonish to see if we can catch the Geoffrey Castle Band doing soundcheck so we can get our own private concert like last time (: Even if they're not soundchecking though, we need to buy tickets, and my mom needs to talk to the owner so I'll be allowed to stay to watch them play. Yay. She called a few hours ago but the owner wasn't there, and he's the only one that has the power to let me stay, so I'm really really hoping we'll be able to talk to him tomorrow.
It was really nice today. All sunny and stuff. I went out to my bench and read a little, then I kinda dozed off out there. Very peaceful (: I was watering mom's garden so there was nice waterfall type background noise for my little doze, and I may have gotten a tan d: Then we had some thunder. It rained a little bit. Not enough to float boats down the gutter though. My boat just kinda sat there and didn't move. Then the adults came back from their glacier/wildlife cruise and I didn't feel like being around other people at all, so I went out for a little walk around the block in the awesome rain smells and water dripping noises and blue sky re-emerging. It was nice (:
Ok. I guess I'll try to sleep so I can wake up and fit in everything we want to do tomorrow.
Oh- I almost forgot. At about 12:50 in the afternoon today, I went in and woke my brother up with a splash of water and green silly string. He was not happy. It was funny d: He didn't stay grumpy too long though. And he got me back- he sprayed vinegar on my back and made me smell funny. My mom has a little spray bottle of vinegar for spraying dandelions. I don't think she'll be doing that anymore though. It does a great job killing the dandelions, but it kills everything else around it too. Less grass for me to mow eh?

oh- and if anyone has any ideas how my new color scheme would be better, let me know.. if something needs to be darker, lighter, completely changed... I think it looks pretty nifty, but I'm no color expert . I was sorta going for something like this color scheme, but they didn't have that in this layout. Or I always could have just gone with this one... d;
